Day 1 - A Budding Rod

Scripture:
"It shall come to pass that the man whom
I shall choose, his rod shall bud."
- Numbers 17:5

When put to the test, the man of God’s selection will shine through all the rest. Any time God chooses a man for His purpose and service, He makes that man more than a insignificant stick. The test of ones appointment is the evidence God produces in him. The man that God calls out for His purpose will have progressive evidence of God’s selection.

Aaron had a rod that God used to confirm his heavenly appointment. His rod not only budded but it bloomed and blossomed and yielded almonds. This declared to us that the man of God choosing will demonstrate evidence of that office. Progressive evidence of God life within. This evidence demonstrates the possibility of the impossible when God is in it. All things are possible when God decides to set a man apart for his purpose.

The angel of the Lord told the virgin Mary after she had ask the question, "How shall this be...? ......with God nothing shall be impossible." Luke 1:37 When you are appointed by God to carry out a mission God has ordained you to fulfill, you will have the possible God, working through your impossibility making it possible. In the end that for which God has called you will bear evidence. The evidence will manifest progressively. The evidence will bud and ultimately bring forth fruit (in season).

One last observation in today’s text. God said "his rod shall bud". But it did more than bud. It blossomed and bore fruit (almonds). Anything God say will bud you can take to the bank. It will be fruitful in the end. "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform (complete) it until the day of Jesus Christ." Philippians 1:6
