Life Changing Experiences
We are looking for people who would be willing to share their personal stories of transformed lives. Tell us your story of salvation. How did you come to Christ? It may not seem important to you to share your story, but to others it might be just the encouragement they need to step toward Jesus Christ. Everyone has a story but not everyone is a writer. Therefore, we have defined three different ways that you can share your story. Some will be stories of tithing and God's supply, others of God's answer to prayer for their family in crisis, others of marriage renewal, some of overcoming terrible tragedies, and still others miracles they have experienced.

1) Write it out, by hand, or electronically on computer on a word processor, etc. or submit it by e-mail.

2) Speak it into a tape recorder. Usually it would be you telling your story to another while a tape recorder is recording the comments. The interviewer will be casual and ask leading questions to help draw out your story. That story will be edited and gleaned from that interview.

3) Video it. We want to share these testimonies as part of our upcoming series on the Gospel of Mark during this winter/spring. The series is called: "Powerful Encounters With Jesus Christ" and tells the stories of individuals who encountered Jesus in the Mark's Gospel and we never the same again.

We will videotape you telling your story. Similar to the tape interview but in this one you will be videoed while you sit in a living room and share your story. You will not have to talk into a camera. The camera(s) will be placed in different positions around the room. The story is casually told. Again, we will edit and clip the important parts.

Confidentiality: We understand that often we might be ashamed of our past or not want everyone to know who we are in the story. In such cases we are happy to keep it anonymous.

Booklet: Finally we want to compile these stories of transformed lives into a booklet for all to share and enjoy the journey of walking with Jesus.
