Jim and Lisa

Your Testimony: As we prayed about our giving and the the pledge for the new building fund we asked God to show us how we could give more when we were already. Trying to live on alot less then before (since we left GJR and started new jobs) and Lisa's one part time job didn't need her anymore we didn't know where it was going to come from. We told God we would just trust Him for it. Then our vans transmission was going and we were told it would cost about $1,000 to fix it and our computer crashed. We prayed about them both and we decided to call The Dodge Company and see if they would cover part of the transmission since we just put a new one in less then 3yrs ago. ( In the past they would not do anything to help) but this time God was directing us and they said if we took it to the local Dodge dealer and have them diagnios the problem they would help. We took it in and the next day they called and said it was fixed and it only cost us $109.00. PRAISE The LORD! Jim too!

Then we took our computer to school and some of the students and a teacher worked on it and put in a new mother board and when Jim went to pay them for the parts they said it was taken care of. GOD Is GOOD. Jim has been getting calls for carpentry and handyman jobs and I have been getting extra hours at my job and even some side cleaning jobs. God has not only provided for our financial needs but also healing with in our families, being encouraged by others testimonies,Carrie feeling called to missions, and our family being able to just be a family again after many years at GJR. When we give to God what He asks He always gives back more. The finacial needs being meet are an answer to prayer but the internal and spiritual blessings are worth so much more!
