Five things that characterize his walk.
1. He does not walk in the counsel of the ungodly,
2. He does not stand in the path of sinners,
3. He does not sit in the seat of the scornful;
4. He delights in the law of the LORD,
5. He meditates day and night in the Word of God.
The results of living like such a man.
1. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
2. He shall brings forth its fruit in its season (good time),
3. His leaf also shall not wither;
4. And whatever he does shall prosper.
Just like a tree that does not grow up overnight so is this man.
It takes time to be holy. It takes day after day routine to engrain godly
disciplines in to our lives and thus make our character permanently changed.
For the LORD knows the way of the righteous,
Finally, God is watching. Nothing goes unnoticed with him. Be sure your
sin will find you out and be sure your personal holiness will be found out
as well.

on the other hand plodded along, slowly but surely, step by step and day by
day. He was the disciplined runner. He won the race.
