v.11
"The focus is the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart throughout all generations.
What a great commentary and affirmation of the Lord's sovereignty. He alone is in charge when everything seems to go wrong, the Lord still reigns.
v.11-17
"No king is saved by the size of his army
No warrior escapes by his great strength
A horse is a vain thing for deliverance desperate its strength
But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him."
We wait in hope for the Lord.
He is our help and our strength.
In Him our hearts rejoice.
For we trust in his holy name. (His name is Author & Finisher of our faith)
May your unfailing love rest on us
As we put our hope in you.
"Faithful is he who calls you who also will do it."
Lord, I have to speak to our congregation this week about Vision and Plans. I need your plans. Mine don't work. Mine can deceive me. Mine are pie-in-the-sky or puny compared to yours. Reveal your heart and mind. Show me your glory in this church.
