Summer Series 2008

"These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come. 12. So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! 13. No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." -- 1 Corinthians 10:10-13

God recommends it. The Bible is full of them. There are over 2900 characters in the Bible. Each has a story to tell, a lesson to learn, and example to follow or avoid. If you had to chose eight or nine characters from among the 2900 who would they be?

Over the next nine weeks of summer we will be examining the character of godly men from the Old Testament. Each of them has something for us to learn about life and godly character. We invite you to listen online to this sermon series. Each week we will post here a brief sketch of the character we are examining.
