Children's Bible Reading It is not easy for a child to read through the Bible nor to sit and listen to long passages being read. We recommend that if you have children in your home that you read daily one story from Ken Taylor's "The Book." Ken Taylor is the translator of the Living Bible. He did that while commuting by train to and from work so that his children would understand the Scriptures. The children will be catch up to us this week! As we read through the book of Numbers they will be completing the stories of of Numbers. Monday - 50. Tuesday - 51. Wednesday - 52. Thursday - 53. Friday - 54. Saturday - 55. Sunday - 56. History: Promises Though the Law is rehearsed in the ears of the Israelites, so are the wonderful promised of God. There are promises for HEALING, for your HOUSE, for your FINANCES, for your FAMILY, for victory over the ENEMY, for PROSPERITY, for TITHING, for the MESSIAH JESUS, There are also an abundance of commandments that are lifelong "principles" upon which to build your life and home. See what Jesus said about building upon the principles of His Word in Matthew 7:24-27. There are many commandments with promise. This week while you read through Numbers have a pen handy to mark your Bibles. Mark especially those promises of God that give you and the principles of obedience. These are "WORDS OF THE COVENANT" not just tedious laws without purpose.
