All 1,200 Alliance missionaries serving in some 53 countries around the globe are supported through the Alliance people giving to the Great Commission Fund (GCF). Out of this fund all our missionaries are equally supported. They do not have to individually campaign to raise their own support but simply tell the story of missions at the yearly church Missions Conference and trust God for the rest!

Each year every Alliance church in the US and Canada conducts a Missions Conference. At the end of the conference Alliance people are asked to make a financial committment to the Lord, and to their missionaries by submitting a "Faith Promise." We make this pledge to the Lord. It is our response to the missions of reaching the world for Christ. Since we cannot go, we determine to give -- liberally, faithfully, and joyfully. It is a statement of our faith that the Lord will enable us to give even above and beyond what might seem reasonable --- It is a step of "faith." It is between you and God. No one will ever ask you for it. No one will ever send you a bill. In fact no one ever sees your pledge except to tally the total during the final Missions Conference service.

Your faith promise is an act of commitment to Christ. It is not the size of the gift that God considers but the size of your faith and love with which it is given. What would God have you to do?
